I discovered The Mokapot House on Lower Clapton Road E5 0RN. Be warned, the food is so good you get addicted to it and that's great because it's all so tasty and filling. The guys Alexia and Adel are very warm and friendly and service is top notch. You can eat in or takeaway boxes. There's a rich spread of pastries, wraps and sandwiches available and a fresh choice of Mediterranean salads daily. Coffee! Coffee! Coffeeee any which one you desire. And calm down, fresh juices are on hand too. The beauty of it all is that the prices are quite reasonable. I wish they could sell their house blend coffee beans.

Little coffee shop with delicious looking food. The man serving me was very friendly. There are only a few tables, but it looked really cozy inside. I asked for takeaway and for 8.50 I got a really well made and warm vegan sandwich (lots of options to choose from, both vegetarian and not), a very decent sized box with 3 different types of salad (out of the 6 they have to offer) and a drink. It was a LOT of food and I was more than satisfied. Really want to go back and have a sit down coffee to enjoy the place more.
This welcoming little coffee house has been a favourite of mine since I discovered it a few years back. Good coffee and a varied selection of fresh healthy food served throughout the day. I’ve not had the pastries but they look amazing ! Wifi is reliable for when you need a quiet spot to work.
